Knudsen Wedges

Knudsen Shims
Knudsen Shims are made from high quality PE (polyethylene). Additives are added which secure lifespan and optimal strength, without deformation.
The shims are used in many homes and are a part of the production with many door- and window manufacturers.
Shims are typically used to level and adjust distances regarding various assembly assignments. It could be mounting of kitchens, bathrooms, stairs etc. The different color-coded thicknesses make it easy and fast to carry out the work. The shims are easily cut out with a Stanley knife or similar.
Knudsen Hanger Shims
Hanger Shims are made of high quality PE (polyethylene). Additives are added, which secure lifespan and optimal strength, without deformation.
The hanger shims can merge to form a singular block with the desired thickness. They are typically used to level and adjust distances regarding various assembly assignments on vertical surfaces. For instance – assembling of top cupboards in kitchens, bathrooms, stairs etc.
The hanger shims are designed so that they can balance on a screw, thus not falling on the floor before the subject is finally tightened.
The different color-coded thicknesses make it easy and fast to carry out precise assembly assignments.
The hanger shims are easily cut out with a Stanley knife or similar.
Knudsen K-Wall - window fittings
K-Wall is made from ABS plastic which secures lifespan and optimal strength, without deformation.
The K-Wall series makes it easy to fit doors and windows in most types of building work and, at the same time, the new and more strict insulation regulations are respected.
K-Wall is obtainable in two variations with two sizes each:
The numbers 28 and 50 indicate the width of the mounting flange, i.e. the part in which the frame screw is mounted.
K-Wall 28 is used for insulation thicknesses from 30 mm, while K-Wall 50 is used for insulation thicknesses from 50 mm.
K-Wall is used in connection with the fitting of door- and window frames, where there is a need for firm and strong support for frame screws. K-Wall is made of ABS and thus does not form thermal bridges such as e.g. metal fittings do. K-Wall is ideal for forward movement of doors and windows in connection to external re-insulation.
Knudsen Combi - adjustable pedestals
The Combi series is made from high quality LDPE (high density polyethylene). Additives are added, which secure lifespan and optimal strength, without deformation.
The Combi series is a classic when it comes to elevating/blocking-up joist floors and wood decking.
The Combi Base along with one of the three Combi tops form the basis of a Combi elevation/blocking-up (32–99 mm). All three combinations of base + top can be heightened with 1-5 Combi Extensions of each 35 mm. These opportunities grant an elevation/blocking-up span of 32-274 mm.
There are two types of soles in the Combi series; One sole to protect a vulnerable foundation like roofing felt and one that grants an effective and documented step sound insulation.
Knudsen Combi Max - adjustable pedestals
The Combi Max series is made from brand new high-quality LDPE (high density polyethylene) = 100% quality control. Additives are added, which secure lifespan and optimal strength, without deformation.
Combi Max is the most used system for blocking up elevated floors and wood decking.
The Combi Max Top together with Combi Max Low / High form the basis of Combi Max (50-138 mm).
All combinations of Top and Combi Max Low / High can be heightened by 1-5 Combi Extensions that each raises the elevation with 35 mm. It grants a blocking-up span of 50-313 mm.
