Architecture in a class of its own and DGNB gold certification
Knudsen Kilen is supplying blocks to increase heights in Køhler’s Garden in Sydhavn, which is expected to be completed in Q4 2023 and will consist of 383 newly built rental apartments in three residential blocks.
The architecture is in a class of its own, with unique footbridges connecting roof terraces between the blocks on the 4th floor.
The building project is using Knudsen Kilen’s Combi Max system which offers a height increase of up to 313 mm, providing ample space for the piping and installations that modern buildings must accommodate beneath the floors.

For this project, Combi Max Top and Combi Max Low are used to provide a height increase of 50-110 mm.
To ensure minimal step sounds between the floors, Knudsen Kilen’s hard step sound brick, Combi Sound Reducer Light, is used to comply with Sound Class C in applicable building regulations.
This will provide future residents with a healthier, more comfortable indoor environment.
