Knudsen Kilen supplied K-Wall 50i for this project in Aarhus Ø for a finished sandwich element facade.
The construction commenced in 2018 and was completed in 2021, comprising 202 owner-occupied flats and 3,500 m2 of commercial rental space on the ground floor.
K-Wall is used in connection with the installation of door and window frames requiring firm and strong support for frame screws. K-Wall is made of ABS and therefore does not form a cold bridge as, for instance, a metal bracket would.
By building in, or mounting K-Wall in, window and door frames, it is easy to install doors and windows in most types of construction. In addition, current insulation requirements are met.
