Knudsen Kilen supplied blocks to increase heights in Blomstergården in Næstved, consisting of 125 newly built youth homes centrally located in Næstved.
Gråkjær A/S was the general contractor for the construction, which was built in three stages, with completion of the final apartments in March 2019.
The project used Knudsen Kilen’s Combi Max system which, due to its height increases of up to 313 mm, provides ample space for the piping and installations that modern buildings must accommodate beneath the floors.

In this construction, Combi Max Top and Combi Max Low were used, providing a height increase of 50-110 mm.
To ensure step sound reduction between the floors, the project opted for Knudsen Kilen’s hard sound brick, Combi Sound Reducer Light, to comply with Sound Class C in applicable building regulations.
As a result, future residents can enjoy a healthier, more comfortable indoor environment.
